Online Prayer Connection
How It Works
Touch of Prayer functions as a point of contact between those who need
prayer and those who pray. Much like a virtual prayer circle, where
intercessors can gather around someone and lay hands on their need.
Some possible uses:
- Have your prayer group pray for your pastor, then ask him to come and
receive the deposit of prayer
- Pray for a missionary, then have them receive your intercession.
- Pray for someone in need, then invite them to come and receive a touch
from God.
- Set up a special time for you and a long-distance prayer buddy to touch a
need, or pray for each other.
- Schedule a virtual prayer meeting with intercessors and those who need
prayer.
- Take a few minutes each day to come and pray for those who will be
receiving a Touch of Prayer that day.
In Acts 19:11-12 we read where Paul would pray over handkerchiefs that
would then be carried and laid on the sick, who would be healed. If God's
power can operated through a handkerchief, why not through the internet?
